Connecticut Science Center Overnight Program

My name is Damon Gibbs and I am the Youth Program Manager at the Connecticut Science Center in Downtown Hartford.  I am writing you in order to spread the word about our Super Science Challenge Overnight program.

The theme of our program this year is Super Science Challenge.  You and your group will participate in our hands-on egg drop challenge where they will think like engineers and compete in designing a vehicle that can house an egg and cause it to survive a 100 ft. drop! Participants will use skill and creativity to design, test, and re-design their vehicles in our labs then watch as their vehicles are dropped from our 6th floor bridge.

The cost of the program is $55 per person (including chaperones).  This cost includes free exploration of our exhibit galleries, access to  view one of our films in our 3-D digital theatre, and a light snack. The morning portion of the program includes a light breakfast, access into our gift shop, and free exploration of the Science Center for the remainder of the day and a patch for completing the program. each Scout receives a patch for completing the program.
