Webelos Scout from Pack 150, Great Kills, NY, Represented his School at Borough-wide Social Studies Fair
Staten Island’s 3RD Annual History Day Fair – This Social Studies Program is open to 4th and 5th grade students in all public and private schools throughout Staten Island. Each school is encouraged to hold its own fair, and school-wide winners chosen by the schools will move on to the Borough-wide fair on May 11, 2012 at the Center for the Arts at the College of Staten Island. The event was sponsored by the Borough President’s Office with assistance from The New York Public Library and CSI.
Webelos Scout Andrew Chang from Pack 150 Great Kills, NY received a 1st place overall win and representing his school PS 58 at the Borough-wide fair. Andrew Chang takes home 3rd place for his work on The History of William H. Pouch Scout Camp. Andrew’s video was a blast into the past, present and future of Pouch Camp. His passion for scouting lead to his fun, educational and creative idea for a video of Pouch Camp.
