G.N.Y.C. Camping Expo and High Adventure Show – Sat. March 9, 2013

Online registration has opened for the G.N.Y.C. Camping Expo and High Adventure Show, Saturday, March 9, 2013, Alpine Scout Camp:

We urge interested persons to register for this event as soon as possible.  This gets them on our mailing list and means that they will be the first to receive our class schedule when released and have the earliest opportunity to register for classes online.  This is a real advantage since certain popular classes will have limited enrollments this year.

I have also attached an e-mail promotion for the Camping Expo.

This Camping Expo will have an emphasis on High Adventure with all four B.S.A. National High Adventure Bases represented, both on the Mega-Midway and in classroom sessions in Reeves Lodge.  We will also have an expanded selection of outdoor camping skill sessions and popular repeat sessions including Leave-No-Trace Basics, GPS, Geocaching Basics, and much more.

Please forward this e-mail to individuals on your District e-mail lists and disseminate as widely as possible within N.Y.C. Scouting.  Also, be sure to mention the Camping Expo at your District Roundtables.
