This training course is designed to meet the needs of Scoutmasters, Assistant Scoutmasters, and interested Troop Committee Members, Parents, Webelos Den Leaders, Commissioners, and new adult leaders. Leaders will all benefit from this informative and hands-on program. The outcome and goal of the program is to help you offer the best possible program to the boys in your Troop. The training session will give you the practical skills you need to lead Scouts in the out-of-doors, and help you master basic camp skills required for Tenderfoot to First Class.

To be assigned to Patrol groups, to cook their own food for weekend.

COST: $20.00 per person includes all handouts and refreshments (cracker-barrel)

TIME: 8:00 AM Saturday Morning till 2:00 PM Sunday Afternoon

BRING WITH YOU: Tent, backpack, sleeping bag, pocket knife, rain gear, Notebook and pen/pencil, Mess kit (or paper goods),Utensils,
Mug (must for drinking), small backpack (day pack) to carry

Saturday. Please wear your uniform.

September 22- 24, 2013 at Camp Pouch will be your chance to build a solid foundation for your Troop’s program this year!

We are offering Adult and Youth Leader Training during Chol HaMoed Sukkot, including:

For Adults:

*   Introduction to Outdoor Leadership Skills* (Sunday and Monday)

*   Scoutmaster and Assistant Scoutmaster Fundamentals* (Sunday, Monday and Tuesday)

*For GNYC Leaders, these courses are mandatory to be registered as a Scoutmaster or Assistant Scoutmaster for Units registering after January 1, 2014.
